vineet, 29 Nov 2011thank u very mych for ur valuable feedback is it really be... moreMy frn hav i9000 n i hav compared with his fon..i hav played a movie on both fonzz of 2:50.hrs after. movie we checked our battery..mayin was 65% n galaxy was 49%..so i think u should go with black..n u can buy a battery of 3400mah..:)

2.3 (Ginger bread) update is available for LG Optimus Black. One can upgrade via 'LG Mobile Update' software. :)

1) i used lg s/w ... moreit's not the gingerbird update you have downloaded, as I have the 10g version (v 2.2 froyo also). It's only a minor update that improve speed and power management a little.
We are still waiting for the gingerbird update, and yes LG sucks a lot.

2.3 updates fr OB is available(28/11/11)
1) i used lg s/w update tool, n it displayed updates r available,
2) update size is abt 231mb, n i downloaded n installed it successfully,
3) but aftr updating it still shows as 2.2.2,
4)s/w version v10f
5)i noticed no change in the phone, all my contacts n data in phn memory r nt deleted even aftr updating, :(
