I am currently using the lg optimus and I have had so.... many problems with it I am very dissapointed in my descision. I have experienced glitches in my music my message sender stops working for no... reason same as my facebook for lg and most of everything else I have on my phone i have has to send it back 4 times already to be repaired and each time it has made it worse. If anyone is looking to by it please reconsider it was a waste of money on my behalf.

Guys why are you so disappointed? I'm using this phone since September 2012 and even though it was in service 5 times (my fault) I still give it 5*. Why? Because I like this phone. Yes, it's not as good as an S4 but you wanna know something? It was made in 2011(?) and it's working like a charm. Yes, it lags like hell in some games and even the system is lagging BUT, again it isn't an S4 or an HTC ONE. Oh and if you want it to work better just flash a custom ROM (aka System), just like CM10.1 and you will have Android 4.2.2 :D.

hi guys i have this phone lg p970 i buy this last month feb. in 3month i use it i would say this phone is not good specially if you play games it easy to overheat and it will hang. you need to removed the battery pack and leave it for an hour to cool down.. this phone is bad not good for the people who loves games at their cellphone. sorry about this but this is what i feel about my p970 tnx.

this is very bad phone i ever used in my whole life....bad speed performence in ram and processor..display never satisfied me..very bad battery backup.....i suggest you dont buy this phone ever........... . .

Upgraded to ICS recently...but it started to show "battery charging slowly due to slow current of TA/USB connection" even with my factory-provided wall charger,didnt show such messages on GB....anybody facing same problem??? Solution anyone???

Yesterday i went to LG Service Centre to upgrade my LOB to ics.
However, the representative adviced me not to upgrade it to ics as they have instructions from LG to tell customers - not to go for ics because it has many problems and once upgraded to ics, they can't downgrade it to 2.3
I wish instead of giving such instructions to service centers, LG should have tried to resolve the issue.

I bought this phone because it says it runs on 3g HSDPA 900/1700/2100, and when I put in my SIM card (HSDPA 1700/2100) it only shows 3g HSDPA 900/1900/2100 and 2g. So if anyone could help me with this problem and help me make this phone work for me that would be great.

Please please do not upgrade to ICS update from LG!
Its a whole lot of s**t. The ICS is nice ,but the battery is draining very fast.You have to charge thrice in a day.
I went to LG customer care and i revert back to GB,now battery is performing good.
