I just bought a new LG-OB 1 week ago, here's a few things i've observe:
*Looks like an Iphone4 But slimmer and wider
*yet very light in weight
*very bright ( I somehow need a shade at night)
*battery last only for a day
*Nice screen resolution
*apps doesn't Lag

Krish, 21 Oct 2011Please clarify about the battery life.Ussualy I used the phone with the following app always on:
3g network (data traffic on - 3G+ network)
wi-fi active (wi-fi hotspot home)
using various widgets on homescreen allways active (facebook,weather,engadget,youtube,mail,beautiful weather)
and almost 1200 - 1600 minutes of incoming and outgoing calls every month
maximum screen brightness set from 7am to 10pm (minimum brightness set in the night for viewing hour and alarm)
in this way I need to charge it every evening but still remains befor charging 20 - 30 percent from battery power...
I hollyday in greece i used the phone only wi-fi and maximum few minutes per day... in 7 day I have charge it 2 times...
conclusion it is yours

LG is always reluctant... moreHey, i think you are not familiar with LG.. Instead of that, you two should have understand. LG is a new entry of Android if compare to HTCs and Samsungs. HTC made the first Google Nexus, Samsung put their phone into few versions of nexus too. Plus, they have been some time on android comparing to LG. I am not saying whose wrong or who right or the hell i defend for LG, i think LG is trying very hard to get their knees on Android in order for compete with earlier competitors on Android OS. For your sake, if not having urself on this or LG, go for others as u so meant to be on update, get urself an Nexus coz update is the first. Beside, LG's R&D team is only the new people and not like HTC and Sammys ones. You just cant blame or said that LG update is slow or useless, they created the phone which put technologies first, LG O2x(first dual core phone), optimus 7 (first window 7 based phone), optimus 3D(first 3D phone).. so you should just understand becoz other users is also facing the late update, you just have to wait, wait patiently... thats all.
If you think i am speaking nonsense, that what i am, speaking the truth! =)

LG is always reluctant to roll out major upgrades and has the slow-motion attitude towards firmware updates.
I support your recommendations for other phones.

It is very bad phone.it look lyk gud . lg doesn't release ice cream sandwitch for lg black.lg does n't give value to users money .i will remove my comment wen lg realese ics for ob.
Now any one want buy this?samsung is bettes than lg black, they release ics for their deviceses ,galaxy ace also support ics.

If you do not want to constantly press the irritating power button at the top and swipe up the screen, then install "No Lock" from android market. With this you can press any keys to unlock the phone, example "G-Key" "volume up down" and "power" button.
Next if you want to lock your phone without pressing the irritating lock key at the top, then install "Lock".
The widget will lock screen just by tapping.

I have finalized on this phone.
Only thing i want to ask is whether i shoud go with white colour or black colour.

Which one looks sexy and better..white colour or black colour.

This is the best phone which comes for less than 20000.I have the same phone.
Battery draining depends upon the no.of applications(Wi-Fi,Bluetooth,3G,songs/streaming videos,games ..etc...) that you are running,the brightness you keep for your Display and unwanted background sessions running.
It is having good descent battery, not that bad, as compared to other smartphones.
No questions about camera and NOVA Dispaly.Awesome quality.

i want to know hows the volume/sound when talking on this phone. hows the call quality. i have heard that the sound is less and its hard to hear in noisy enviornments
