I own this smart-phone since July this year. It's GREAT.
Even though i heard some complains about battery life - my personal opinion is that it's very good; you can't really ask for more when the price is so low. I use it on a daily basis with wlan on, browsing the net a LOT, listening to music at the same time and it's still more then satisfying.
Those being said, all the rest of it's features are great - at least :).
Decent quality photos, a 2MP camera in the front if you wanna picture yourself or have a video-call.
SD slot. Good response of the touchscreen. ETC - list can go on.
Oh btw, the display is brilliant !!!
PS: I'm working for a phone company and i have the chance to "play" with a lot of new devices, but for it's range of pricing - this device is definitely something i would recommend.

First you have to switch it o with the power button
then ,swipe it to use the screen.
But if you are taking Samsung,the home does invokes the display and the natural way of hlding the phone helps to swipe open the lock also!!!

guys I'm about to go for this... I am not sure about buying it coz of the battery back up and the deduction in network while u hold it in hand how far is this true... I am a phone addict so how long exactly does the battery last?

Anonymous, 12 Aug 2011Lg optimus black 100 times betteri bought the samsung galaxy i9003 and it's really great phone by the way, the down side of the galaxy is no led flash for camera but the down side for this lg is the internal memory it's just 2 go (only 1go user availble) in the galaxy u have 4go( and about 3,2 go user availble)
also what makes me sad that the lg doesn't have the swype technology like the samsung.
Also the touchwiz ui of samsung is so much better, this what i think.
By the way i gave my galaxy back to the samsung and i'm gona buy this phone for many reasons
1- led flash
2- 2mega px cam on the front
3- nova tech
4- compared to the samsung all the cons are not serious and u can download an app that will rock ur phone ui and another app for the swype
in the end if u have to choose between the i9003 and this choose this phone.
