I purchased it last month 19th August....nice phone....slim....handy....nice display....superb sound quality using earphone....better than SGS....but one problem about internet connectivity....when i am switching off net connection and again after some time i start the net it wont work...every time i have to restart my phone....and then it works....setting is ok....what shall i do? i asked this problem to service center and in reply they told me to upgrade it to 10 d ...please reply

LG Optimus Black is VALUE for money. If you have to pay a lot of extra $$$ for so little advantage with another phone, then it's not worth the price. Specs-wise maybe some will find a little advantage with the Samsung, but it will hardly be perceptible in daily use to normal users, at least not enough to justify the price difference. IF (big IF) Samsung will offer reasonable price for the Galaxy then maybe it will be worth considering.

thrinu, 02 Sep 2011hi.. i got my OB a month ago when i purchased phone the cam... moreIts better change ur SD card capacity and its class. Now i'm using Kingston micro SD 16GB, Class 10. Its apps running and file write is definitely have a lot of improvement than the sd card that came along with the OB.

Prety ... moreHaha.. believe it or not, my OB can run NOVA 2 HD, Asphalt 6 HD, Fast five HD and any gangstar version HD, all is running smoothly and decently..But if u want towards heavy Gaming, go for Galaxy S instead of OB becoz Galaxy S GPU is slightly more poewerful than OB ones. Hope this helps =)
Btw, the review u read b4 may be wrong coz not all OB canot run those game, if u rooted ur phone and using ChainFire, ur phone also can play Tegra based games.

Friends......please help me as i'm going to buy one. Prety confused between lg ob and samsung galaxy s. Which one will be better for gaming. i read somewhere that LG OB is unable to run GANGSTAR MIAMI VINDICATION HD and BROTHERS IN ARMS 2 and others HD games. So tell me if it is true

i think LG did a good job in making this phone... its design is beautiful and its very fast device... this LG's flaship mobile is well created

better move all apps to sd card. good if you upgrade your sd card .....

Mac, 01 Sep 2011CUrrently OB and Galaxy S(but that too 2.3!!) is almost at ... moreOB has LED flash on main camera and this boost up great value in taking picture at night, it also comes handy in other field.
OB has slimmer body and lighter weights.
OB has better market on somehow becoz it is a newer device compare to GS.
OB use NOVA display,in fact, it do save battery than GS.
Although GS winning in some features, but OB would be the great device in its range. =)
(My opinion-Sometime u just cant look only samsung, we should also have to try others like this LG which mean LG also catching up and soon to beat Samsung in future =) )
