1. True that ob has 1500mah battery for reason to slim down the phone but you can any day get a mugen 1950mah battery for the phone. 1650mah in sl is not a big thing, maybe give you a few min more tt, but sl display consumes more power :(
2. Whoever told you that in ob you only have 180mb? User memory in sl is much same in ob. please see the memory usage youself. I get around 307mb free when phone boots and there is no way that as you are saying the sl has 478 free! i have myself seen, it is usually around 210mb for user..

    hi guys..optimus black is really awesome phone in today mobile world...giving all features with an affordable price..sound performance of tis phone is really gud..dnt rely with any rumors..if u want an gud android phone means the best way go with lg optimus black..i love my phone...bought it last week

      1. i compared between LG OB and SG SL and i found the power used on Nova screen save more than SC-LCD so the type of sc-lcd need more power to give a light for screen and change AM type from 1500 to 1650 AM
      2. the ram used on OB is 512MB and SG-SL is 478MG its not big deal but still how much of application install and work on so i advices all who used andriod phones use this application by andriod market " Automatic Task killer " its good app so it can manage ur device to save a paces of ram and working well .

            2.Better BAttery - SG SL got 1650Mah and here it is 1500Mah.

                    1.Anyone will agree that samsung galaxy sl ordinary super LCD is poor when compared to NOVA (which is same technology which goes into apple iphone4 from LG displays).
                    2. 2Gb phone memory is not bad considering you can add 32gb mem card.
                    3. You can get much better document editors for free in app store, which doesnt seem like an imp point here. Its android so you must be getting everything.
                    4.Define best in class?? Does it play all kinds of divx/mp4 videos? Again here you can get better players from market.
                    5. The 12hr batt is 2G, did you check the 3G column?? The 2G tt of optimus black is 20hr and 3G is 6hr+
                    6. SGSL costs INR 19600 and OB INR 18900 in Bangalore.

                          KRP, 17 Aug 2011Some places I read when this phone is having Data connectio... moreactually thats the problem with the sammys. this never gets heated up when using wifi or mobile data. it only gets heated up when u watch any video at full brightness which by the way no one does(for indoor 20% is fine). it gets a little too hot while charging. thats it. go ahead with this phone. no probs.
