I have it. I like it. few defect just: is battery (every 12 hours must be charged)camera (not as good as I expected ) sound ( yes it's clear, but lacks power)

i like this phone,using it for almost a month now and use golauncher as default,install some other go apps,also playerpro as music player,and mobo player for watching videos which support more file type such as flv.

Raj, 09 Aug 2011hey guys can u plese tell me about the battery backup. hows... moreAs you know all androids devices not the best among to have long battery life like Nokiaphones but I can tell you that from my experience of using optimus black, I on its wifi for almost everyday and single charge for it i managed to have the battery life for more than 24hours.. l also use task killer to kill running apps and juice defender for that result....

I have the Black for a few days already.i do like the phone.
Strong points are of course the screen and the looks. it`s a gorgeous phone.
i do like the camera. Videos are great and pictures are very nice too. Flash is surprisingly strong.
Not so good is the software itself.
I`ve previously used a xperia phone and the software although simple is a lot better in comparison to what LG has to offer. There`s no backup utility in it (at least i didn`t see one). facebook and Twitter apps are a joke and the weather apps are the standard ones from accuweather. The G button is a nice addition but other than that i was hoping for more.
In terms of OS and UI fluidity it`s good. Very few effects used and theres a bit of lag sometimes, but that`s to be expected since it`s still stuck in android 2.2.2. I hope LG updates the phone in this department very quickly. The hardware is there but LG isn`t keeping up in the software department.
Battery usage is ok. I get 2 days with moderate usage (2 or 3h of internet, 1h of music play and some messages).
To save battery i just use taskiller and kill all apps idle in the background.
P.S - To answer a question i just read. Flash is built in the browser, but of course you have to update it in the market. It works wonders. ;)
The update to android 2.3 is reported to be available in september, october tops. I hope so.

Awesome phone. Nice camera, very good to hold. HSDPA 900 / 1700 / 2100 is too good. I havent bought it yet, but am sure its amazing. Anyone interested in gifting me one can mail me @ 123@123.com
