Hi Optimus Black Users. How about the 4 capacitive buttons at the bottom? Do you find them not so responsive like hit and miss? Because I had bad experience with capacitive buttons before.

well in terms of touchscreen sensitivity, it is not as good as Samsung. I have a Samsung Tab as well. Between the two, Samsung Tab has better a touchscreen. But I am not bothered by that. I did not play Angry Birds on the LG Optimus Black bec i am sicked of Angry Birds already. But I did play Pumpkins Vs Monster and I did not experience any lag at all. I think its the LG Skin. I also noticed that when I used SlideIT keyboard (like Swype), I did experience a slight lag but not when I use LG's keyboard. I will write more reviews as I use it more and more. Just bought it on Sunday.

the phone does not support HDMI because it wouldn't play. I used MoboPlayer to watch 2 movies today to test how good the battery is again. After 252 min (4.2 hours) of watching 2 movies(572x362 and 504x208) and 1 music video(720p quality) plus 10 minutes of talk time on the phone, I still have 36% of battery left. But the power was set to "Power Saving" mode. Because of the bright display, the movies are still clear and watchable. The display is really impressive.
Videos with 720 resolution play very well without any drop in frames.

Here is my first review of the battery life:
After fully charged it for 2 hours, the battery dropped 20% after 16 hours of moderate usage. I have the following settings:
1. Memory Booster on
2. Screen brightness is set to "Optimized Brightness"
3. Wifi On
My usage includes:
1. One very brief call.
2. Received and sent 15 sms each.
3. Browse Android Market for a few minutes.
4. Installed a couple of apps.
5. Played a game for 7 minutes.
6. Took 10 pictures using the highest resolution with three of them using the flash.
7. Recorded a one minute video using 720 resolution.
8. Played videos for 10 minutes.
9. Played YouTube videos for 10 minutes or so.
10. Browse photo gallery for a brief period.
11. Browse the net for 5 minutes.
12. Used GPS navigation (Sygic) for 25 minutes.
Oh yeah and admiring the gorgeous screen once in awhile throughout that period. At the time of writing this I still have 20% battery left. Will post more reviews later.

I bought it yesterday. Lemme use it for a week and then I'll write a review on this. So far so good. The screen is gorgeously bright. My initial impression on the Gesture key is not so good. Just an extra feature, can do without it. But the screen....gorgeous, beautiful.

"the phone is not listed on the Gorilla Glass website but the protective plastic of the phone is very similar to Gorilla Glass products: it is scratch resistant but lacks an oleophobic finish so fingerprints are very noticeable on it."
About fingerprints..everybody uses screen guards..so this is not a problem.

the secondary cam is amazing copaired to the other phones i;v been lookin at.. ta has a 2MP cam which is good copaired to the iphone and others

Using the headset from the box, the sound is very bad. But, if you buy other powerful headset, the sound is very good (quality, bass..). So, the problem with the sound is not from the phone, it is from the original headset from the box.
Earpiece mode, when talking, is good, loud enough.
