I upgraded my OB to 2.3.4 , and now i want to root my phone , i tried Unlock root & SuperOneClick but no luck.
I'm using Win7-64 bit OS , Someone please guide.

i just bought OB today.
its just annoying that i can't seem to find how to silent the shutter sound. Can someone help?
NOW i noticed fast battery drain, however, i started to stop unwanted apps and lower screen brightness to maximize battery.

the phone gets heated up a lot while using wifi n internet for a long time n its hanging a lot maybe due to lot of apps but it lags a lot.... dont know what to do plz help

after doin 8 months of research, i finally brought dis lg optimus black a month ago. and i wud luv to tell u guyz dat ma research din fail n result i got was perfect. i got everything what i wanted.
i bot dis in bangalore for 18k. and now im sharing ma experience...
battery:
i saw many comments regarding battery issues.
i got ma cell currently upgraded to 2.3.4 gb. myself being a smartphones freak n app developer, on a moderate usage optimus black gives atleast a 28hrs of usage.
dat means battery life of optimus black is good.
so battery life aint a prob fa me.
display:
absolutely stunning display. i guess no one can produce dis kinda display at dis range. thx to nova.
excellent display guyz. luv it.
design & ui:
mindblowin design.very much sleek.
lovely ui made by lg. very smooth ui.
really like to play wid it.
camera:
i aint a camera geek. but nyways snaps n videos frm black luk brilliant. wen bad lighting conditions, snaps are okay...
no prob on camera of optimus black..decent photography.
music:
i heard some comments on loudspeaker of optimus b. well, volume of speaker is aint dat gr8, but wen in home, playin music n videos via speaker
s simply gud.
while playins music via headset, audio is excellent.. dolby effect is mindblowin. really i shud say, headphone rox!
videos:
nicely done. support many formats. mxplayer dos a gud job fa videos.
720p videos plays perfectly.
videos play smoothly too.
touch response:
cant talk a word, exceptionally brilliant. really luv d touch response on optimus b...
dlna:
dlna connectivity is amazing! luv to play videos n photos frm ma black to ma led tv(dlna certified). all u need is wifi conn.
internet n connectivity:
nyc fun via internet...no probs at all..pinched zoom wrks fluid..
wifi : simply gr8..strong conn.
calls: signal reception is too gud n voice clarity is amazing(thx to secondary microphone)...
hangs n lags:
never had evn a single hang or lags til today... i installed many apps frm playstore... 1ghz plays an perfect role. very fast ui. nyc wrk by lg.. thx ti ti omap 3630 chipset..
g-key:
wow! sakkat! dos all gestures n panning n many stuff. thx to gestures ui 2.0
cons:
hmmm i really dont think so.. may be screen cud be 4.3"...
othrewise optimus black is a gr8 smartphone @ dat range. nycly configured. njoyin games lik angry birds space, fruit ninja, gta etc...
i treat ma black as ma gal frend...in luv wid it.. n i can strongly recommend u this mobile if u are looking for a single core android mobile in this price range !
i also saw many negative comments on di phone, but i wud lut to tel dat der is no such cons or issues on black..
all dat matters is dat u will have to maintain it properly...

Image quality is great & it has one of the best display ever.But if you r buying a new phone go for htc one v
the specification is similar but comes with ICS out of the box & every thing is fresh the build quality the theme (HTC sence).
