some days ago I've tried to upgrade via LG official software and suddenly Software returns with an error and failed to upgrade. the phone was dead! so I had to flash it and now it is here live and healthy... LG is very awful on software!!!

Updating its OS means higher needs of the phone's performance - which will make your phone slower. Android 2.2 works fine, and will work best with OB since OB and it's OS suits each other.

adi, 20 Mar 2012when LG is updating to ICS.. any specific time schedule cau... moreLOL dude. Some of us arent even getting 2.3 Ginger yet (UK users) and you are talking about ICS. If LG is going to release it, it will most likely be no sooner than Q4 2012 or Q1 2013. Good luck waiting.

I'm using my LG OB for last 3 months and it's obsolutly great phone, I realy love it :) Unfortunatly Lg is making realy bad headphones, because mine are not working any more. Its the secound time when I'm meating this kind of problem with LG. Before OB I had LG Arena and their headphones broke too :(
