I have upgraded my OB before 20 days. The performance is very good now. I love this device. The device is very fast and smooth now after the GB Upgrade. The look of the UI is not changed much, however there is lot of difference when it comes to performance. The device is more responsive now.
I see that there are more negative comments for LG OB. Perhaps I am the lucky ones.

Ppi wise neo is better but nova is fantastic display! also optimus is slimmer. I'm currently using this.i was also confused but later settle with lg.

@undead citezen. go for neo... not neo v... check for specification and you'll see the difference... SE NEO is my bet..

@kabayanjp - Yes it has alphanumeric key. . .
It has a average battery duration.. most High resolution smartphones drains their battery fast . . . but you can minimize it by setting the brightnees to AUTO, turning off Bluetooth, GPS AND WIFI when not needed. (android booster app also helps save battery.)
>though the speaker quality is not that good(not loud), but when using LG headset, it compensates.

Guys, Iam from India. I am in a dilemma between black and xperia neo v. Except big screen, I feel neo v is better in every way. Obiviously Cam & video of black are not that good. The speaker volume of black is very low, while neo's, its very loud and clear. Design wise too, neo truimps. Lot few glitches to be found in black, while neo v seems good/very good in all respects. Perfect alrounder. What you ppl say, guys?

I hv been using this phone for about 4 months and i am pretty much happy with its perfomance. The only problem that i hv experienced is camera hanging now and then and also crashing when overloaded,waiting to upgrade to gb. The display quality is superb.

poor do not buy for such costly but low quality mobile. its one month and reciever is out of order. need chsrging everyday even i use only for calls and sms.

Recently i upgrade my OB from OS 2.2 froyo to 2.3.4 gingerbread. I am not able to use 3G services. 3G setting is OK & I asked many times from my service provider (Airtel) but nothing happened. I thing problem is within mobile phone.
I am getting only 2G speed which is 40 -60 kbps. If anyone know the solution then pls reply..

I have upgraded my ob to gb yesterday using LG PC suite IV. The data and applications remained intact. But the performance of the phone has deteriorated. But when I had asked the service centre for the upgrade, they had said that all the data will be lost and the phone will be like new. Can anyone tell me whether getting the upgrade done through service centre will improve the performance or should I reset the phone for better performance?
