Its easy... go to [setting]͵ then [about phone]͵ then [software update] and lastly [check now for update]. Done. No need to connect anything to pc.

I have this phone now just 1 week old since I bought so far so good internet so fast , camera is good in daylight , touchscreen very sensitive/responsive ,LG keypad is good , vediocam resolution for me is acceptable and batery life is within specs . For me One of the best smartphone of LG with affordable price.
@Sunil you mentioned about TV APPS , may I ask is it free of charge when you download it? thanks

sunil, 08 Jul 2012dude pls tell me.. how u update to 2.3.6download and install LG Mobile Support Tool.
After installing it connect the phone to your pc and let it update. Make sure u have the phones drivers though.
