kiwirose , 25 Dec 2012does it supports OTG cable...? no dude as i tried from nokia n samsung OTG cable. it doesnt support usb on the go..... i didnt tried from LG cable...

its actually a very nice phone. the touchpad is sometimes over-sensitive and it rarely slows down while downloading something from the playstore. but overall a really good buy for all. it is bound to gather your attraction in a couple of days time. so looking forward to buy a new android phone, go for this.

I have been exploring custom ROMs for HUB. But there... moredude ... try stable mod or nighty mod.. bt its nt a best way.......
do onething install xplorer
in root option choose system n then apps
now send all those application to ur laptop via bluetooth...
once u installes custom rom. u can install previous apps that u send to ur laptop.. so camera will works fine... . its just my passion.. i didn't tried

I so love this phone. the only thing that i am sad about is that it has only 150 Mb internal memory.

What I meant is, I have rooted my phone already and now I see a software update waiting. But I am not sure if it's a good idea to take that update as it might cause issues on a rooted phones. What you can do is, update the software to whatever latest available and then root it. Rooting is quite simple. Search google for "Super one click", install that in your PC, follow the instructions.

Hi all,
In my LG Optimus Hub (E510) I have
1. The Android Version: 2.3.6
2. Kernel Version: 2.6.35.10-perf lg-electronics@SI-RD10-BLD115#1
3. Software Version: V10e-MAY21-2012
After that I rooted it. Now today when I randomly checked for Software Update, my phone showed there is an update available with size 0.85 MB. Is it ok to download and update on a rooted phone? I have read that it will cause problems. Did anyone try updating the phone recently? What is this update brings along?

from Settings -> Configurations -> Manage Configurations -> Simple & Powerful.
Try that out.
