hi im usingh l3 from 6months its a awsome mobile for me it is better then others mobils in this range 7-9thousands i can play temple run ,subway surfer,all version of temple runs
camera is super finen very fast phone 2.3.6 gingerbread but you can upgrade from service center to 4.1 jellibean or icecream sandwhick
awsome sound good touch exellent perfomance

If that's what you mean, then its automatic. When the display turns off or you lock the phone by pressing the power button, then the screen will be locked.
