In regards to yorlur messages, do you mean you don't want to display the message content in the status bar/notifications bar? Because this phone's stock messaging app doesn't have pop-up display when you receive a text, instead, you can read the content in the notifications bar. You can disable that feature by going to message settings.

Must this phone display messages on the screen for it to give you an option to use a tone or vibration for message alerts? Is there a way I can have a message alert tone or vibration activated without the message being displayed on the screen?

is there an... moreSo far, LG doesn't release any update yet if you're using the latest firmware version of the phone. Now, if you're suffering to low phone storage, move most of your apps to internal memory. If you're not rooted, there's an alternative solution for this using Android SDK Tool. Just click this link for the procedure:

*Note, in the case of our phone, there's no move to USB Storage, instead, move to internal memory. It will be enabled if its disabled if you do the procedure on the posted link.
If you have low phone storage, you can't send text messages so it is important to not make the system storage full. Move most of your applications to internal memory except launchers, widgets, or any other application that you want to use even when your phone is mounted to computer.
In addition, if you suffer poor phone performance, you gotta root your phone.

i bought this phone for a couple of weeks now.
is there any way to upgrade this unit? i can't download more applications. it always declare phone memory full though it still have space and i cant even send messages. not all applications can move to internal memory. how can i save applications to my external memory. thanks! hope to hear feedback soon..

i have bought this phone for a couple of weeks now, and i just discovered that when u make a phone call, the screen goes blackout and i can't make the screen go back to normal even if i push the power button at the top, it only goes back when the recipient caller ends the call. could anyone help me with this. i'm planning to go back to the store where i bought this, hope they could fix this.

Please move all media to ExternalSD, leave the internal memory for applications. You may clean the dalvik-cache using the same application.
