Now, the weirdest thing i have seen recently just happened yesternight. My LG Optimus dual L5 which could not send or receive messages using the system messaging app, all of sudden decided to start working!!! I can't explain what the heck happened, but its been working for the last several hours. I can't believe it and am waiting to see if it's acting or its really ok!!!I even uninstalled handcent. Let's wait and see.

i just had the l5 e615 an i have a problem with the screen .. it flashes a red frame around the whole screen sometimes when i open anything or do anything .. can any body help because am upset because its really a good phone but i feel like i wasted my money .. please help me

I have seen some of us are having a problem with the messaging. In fact since i bought this device i have not used the stock/system messaging application. It keeps displaying, "sorry messaging has stopped." I contacted LG here in Kenya and they flashed my device but the problem didn't go away. I factory reset the device twice as per bloggers suggestion, but the problem has not been resolved. The LG technician has told me that they will replace my motherboard.
If your device has this problem, just take it back to LG service center and they will probably change your device motherboard. In the meantime i am using Handcent sms and it works ok, though avast do not recommend Handcent, they say it uses too high permission priority! Try it as you work on getting the handset to LG.

If mobile data, in my opinion, and in other phones that I've used, when making phone calls and/or receiving text messages, mobile data (or the packet data) connection will be temporary disabled, and it will be enabled again until you finish the call and/or the message has been received. If you use wifi, I don't know.
