hi..im planning to buy this phone..just wanna ask if it is dual standby or dual active sim?'cause i uses two sims one for personal and the other for business use..can anyone answer this..thanks cause im really particular with the dual sim function..thanks..and one more thing what does the button in the right side of the phone (symbolizes for switching sim) means?..thanks...

We bought Lg E615 few days back and have put it on the rugged tests so far.
Performance:
Phone is equipped with 800 Mhz processor and 512 mb ram.
For most of the phone use, this is more than enough.
But for more complicated use it lacks a lot of power.
Design:
It is very uniquely designed in the form of edged rectangle and feels comfortable in hand. Mostly plastic is used but the metal finish on the edges gives it a great look.
Apart from all the phone feels fragile in hand.
Camera:
It has a single flash 5 MP auto focus and touch focus camera. The camera works great in ambient lighting but with low lighting the quality of pictures drops to average. There is at least 2 sec lag in taking pictures. The camera is provided with a lot of modes to play with. The video recording is in 640*480 mode.
Media:
The phone is equipped default android music and video players so other apps like mobo player v7.0 should be used. The speaker is of good quality but it lacks bass in the sound. Overall it is nicely equipped to play media.
Software :
It comes pre installed with and 4.04 and LG's UI 3.0.
The Lg UI looks outdated but performs very well.
others : lg tv, memo, e comics, live support, lg world.
Battery:
It has a 1500 mah battery which gives a talktime (2g) for 10-12 hrs. on 3g use it is decreased to 8-10 hrs.
The charger included is low current charger and the charging time is about 3 hrs (too much).

For : 4.0 inch ultra bright screen, great looks
verdict : Low performance phone with no hd camera/video support.

I bought L5 E612 (single sim) yesterday an as I have tested it is a very good one in this range of price. why this, I also thing it is best if you want to compare in 1.5 times more price phones.

I bought this phone last week, battery backup design all are good with few glitches in camera and Display. In India it costs about 13300. I want to sell it now for 11000

Lg is obviously trying to fix the display bug on the previous version by adding the IPS display technology.And i think it's cool

I bought for 14000. Its nice but there are few issued....
camera quality is not upto mark...all photos appears yellowish.
wifi reception is weak.
display is good but requires angle to view perfectly.
