I've just contacted LG France, their answer was pretty straight: no Kitkat update planned for the LG L5 II :(

I just called LG Romania and asked for support and they answered that they do not have any info about 4.4.2 for LG L5 II (E460). So, there aren't any official news regarding KitKat :( We'll see

When i asked a LG customer support 2 days ago is there any plan for updating L5 II to 4.4...i got this answer:
"I have had a look into this for you, I have been able to find out that there is a planned update for the L5 II, this will be for Kit Kat (4.4.2).
I am afraid that as we do not create the updates or roll the updates out personally, we wont be able to confirm when this will be available, the best way to check that there is any updates available is to go into your about phone settings and into the update centre, select check for updates and see if there is anything in there. If you don't get any luck with that, you can always try speaking with your Network provider to see when they will be releasing the update out to their customers"
so there you go, straight from LG..we will get kitkat :) hang tight

I just updated it to V10L - same 4.1.2 using LG Mobile Support Tools but still no 4.4.2, just 2 new apps Drive and Google Play Games :-| I'm still waiting for kitkat :-)
