LG Optimus L-Series II goes official with three new models

11 February, 2013

LG took the wraps off the freshly leaked, second generation Optimus L-Series trio of smartphones. The new devices will feature enhanced design philosophy and LG's latest software trickery. The first one of the pack to hit the shelves will be the dual-SIM version of the LG Optimus L7 II, which will become available this week in Russia.

The LG Optimus L7 II features a Qualcomm MSM8225 chipset with a 1 GHz dual-core CPU. There's 768MB of RAM and 4GB of built-in memory, which can be further expanded via microSD card slot. The display is a 4.3" IPS unit with WVGA resolution. An 8MP camera with LED flash, front-facing unit with VGA resolution, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, and 2,460 mAh battery complete the highlights of the handset's spec sheet.

The measures of the LG Optimus L7 II are 121.5 x 66.6 x 9.7mm. The dual-SIM version is slightly longer with measures of 122.2 x 66.6 x 9.7mm.

The LG Optimus L3 II and L5 II will be announced at a later date. We're guessing that it won’t be a long wait for those two.
