from examle 950ms used, 58mb free, r/o click the mount R/W to enable read and write so you can now delete the lgphone_jb.odex and the lgphone.odex file.

I m using it in Pakistan. It's awesome. I hav no sms issue, no dialer issue, no GPRS/EDGE issue. Battery is fantastic. On standby it z giving me 125hrs backup time. New software update has arrived bt can't install it due to root. The only thing z tht it has dual clocks on lock screen which I can't remove even from setting there there z option available. Another thing tht LG Smart World application z in Korean so I can't download applications frm there. Besides it z a perfect phone.

AnonD-174606, 12 Aug 2013i root lg F160L and delete lgphone.apk and obex file and re... moreThe problem you delete the LGphone.apk without back up the file. i already post on how to solve the local call issue to remove the local and korean call when dialing without the country code. the only file you will delete in the system/app is the lgphone.odex and the lgphone_jb.odex file and not the lgphone.apk and the lgphone_jb.apk, you can reset your phone in cwm or clock work mode. just wipe the data file delvic and the cache. and reset or recover the phone to factory default settings.

I already root my unit as well as customizing its ROM and it seems more convenient to use than before and as what I had experienced a lot of alterations. Here in my country (Davao City, Philippines)needless to worry regarding to the signal, co'z even if there is a heavy rain still you can use your preferred data network. And to the issue of 80 bytes (characters) worries no more because since it was already root it now became 160 bytes without installing Go SMS Pro.
It varries to the user on how they root their unit, Som bugs may exist, so much better to you guys think before you do some action.

i root lg F160L and delete lgphone.apk and obex file and restart the device then i get error system UI has stoped and my phone is not show any signal and not making calls and in setting i see my baseband is unknown what should i do any one please help me
