$ su
# mount -o remount,rw -t yaffs2 /dev/block/mtdblock1 /system

# chmod 755 /system/bin/flash_image
# mv /system/etc/install-recovery.sh /system/etc/install-recovery.sh.bak
# mount -o remount,ro -t yaffs2 /dev/block/mtdblock1 /system
# flash_image recovery /sdcard/recovery.img
# reboot recovery
dont wory about the sign they will automaticaly come when you enter diffrent emulator have diffrent sign you just need to enter lines after sign stuff ok there is no spacebar btwn like $ su etc.ok i will show you

Wonderful phone at this price. Though it may appear to be competitor to Samsung galaxy Y, yet it is far better. 2 good things in specs i noticed as compared to galaxy Y:
1. codec support : LG optimus net supports .avi format out of the box, while galaxy y doesn't.
2. interface : LG has better interface. long press on any icon in notification area (e.g. bluetooth) takes you to that menu. In samsung, u can turn on bluetooth in notification area but cannot make it discoverable unless u follow the long route through settings menu... nonsense indeed.

And what... moreif you want speed on stok ROM than optimus net rules but in custom ROM both must have same speed bcz they have same 512 MB RAM dont get confused btwn procceser speed its how heavy app your phone can handel on my phone mostly cpu shows only 300-400 Mhz beeing used but at heavy games you feel the diffrence.

if you buying phone just for surfing and camera use + you want good looks then go with explorer and also if you don't know how to flash a new ROM
But if you are like me heavy gamer don't care for the looks lg optimus net is great
camera quality is awesome in daylight but indoor shooting is not good that's problem is with all budget phones surfing is fast and if you install cyanogenmod 7 you get flash player so all disadvantages compared to htc are removed ya the main advantage of optimums net over explorer is that you have 150 MB internal storage but in explorer its 90 MB if you are a android user you must be knowing how important it is.
My personal recommendation is optimums net

ace2008, 13 Apr 2012Now my phone battery life xtended to 2.5 days. i will po... morehey ace can you please give all extra stuff necessary for CM 7/9 in one single post at once. means all fixes, zips etc. In my case I got managed almost all issues(except charging animation in power off mode) for my op.net, but its also after too many experiments of fixes. so it will be better if you give exact stuff at once for all issues...thanxxxxxx.

tol ace. i've read your posts. I bought LG OPTIMUS NET last october 2011, and yet, i still dont know how to get a great rom that will fit this phone. I think the rom that ur using is the best rom so far for P-NET. Most of your links dont work at all. Some of them were already deleted. Could you please teach me how? Cyanogenmod 7/9, 7 fix v1, 7 fix v2. i cant find those roms that could fit my phone. Salamat tol.

on stock rom it takes 4 sec to open message but after installing canogenmod7 it takes 2 sec maximum no matter how heavy app you are ruining in background same worn the calling in that also there is 1sec lag but after installing there is no lag say all
unnecessary app such as finance ,LG store etc are removed that means more ram is free for doing stuff like heavy games etc
lot of customization like vibrate on call . and on hang up
etc

incognito mode while browsing
you can send apps to external memory forcefully
basically overview is that CHANGEENMOD 7 IS STABLE AND FAST.

Great phone at a unbeatable price... Real value for money... Just loved it... Better than samsung galaxy phones atleast... Looks classy feels superb... awesome display... and great performance in all aspects... only for 8,500/- a phone u shud not say no to when you have a real tight budget...
