I have been using Optimus Net since a month here is my experience -
Pros - Good specs (800 MHz proc, 512 mb RAM, Aderno graphic chip), non-glossy back, latest android, great screen (I have seen other 320x240 models they look real bad), smart dial, fast while using, internet works awesome, lots of apps, awesome price ~ Rs 1000
Cons - No screen protection when new, no bundled cover, navigation keys are hard to press (I like touch ones).
Have 10K budget and want best android phone, this is it!

hay guyz m using ds phon sinc last 2 weeks,i found:-
1.I hv downled almost 45 apps,when i moved it to sd card i found that tha particular app is nt working smoothly as i have installed tial exterme 2 having same prob.
2.sometimes the phone take time to open call registr,sms even it took time to end d cll.
3.when i kill all apps from adv task killar,bt if i go to setting-application-running services..it will again shown all d app enen i dont use them..
4.battry is being draind early using net(common2all).
5.internal memory low..even i move to sd card(some of them cannot move)
6.screen touch irratate me,as it aut0mtcly press itself and start unwanted crap tasks.
7.it lags very much when i use high graphic game.
So my quation is does anyone tell me what is root?how cn i do ds?what its use?does it expire warrenty?

There should be video calling in lg optimus net.& other features & specification are too good but sound is very low & battery backup is littlebit poor. but according to my opinion this lg optimus net p690 is very good cell phone.

tera, 22 Jan 2012I didn't think this phone's battery was gonna be that weak ... moreactually i have the same observation.. but u know what it just tells you to charge your phone but it would take a while to turn off. Like my batt icon says empty yesterday and my phone is still working till now. batt almost 3 days now.. used it for text call and some music.

i m confuse about buying this.
my options are micromax a70 , samsung galaxy y , lg optimus net.
as its my 1st touch i want 2 start with android series.
i don't want any fuss can any one help.......

Dude, you cant compare an android phone's battery life with a nokia phone.. Optimus net has the best battery in its range.. Galaxy y or ace or any sony ericsson phone's battery life is inferior to that of 1500mah optimus net. If you use the app juice defender you can get 2 days battery back up.

I didn't think this phone's battery was gonna be that weak .. I keep charging the phone every single day even if I don't use it that much. i go to work everyday so I don't use the phone for more than 10 hours daily.. When I do go home to use, it's just for reading some text messages, and I seldom go to internet, and the battery is already half empty! I thought Optimus Net's life was gonna be longer than my older phones. My old Nokia phone can stay up for upto 2 days. Other than that, the phone's great. The battery life's the only problem, really,.

I have Nokia C7, the battery of my phone is good.Now i want to buy Lg Optimus Net but when i see on some webside the battery backup of LG optimus Net is not good?is battery backup of Net is like C7 or Nokia E72?please help me.....

For those facing problem
LG Optimus Net=Medium class android phone
80% of all apps in the market run on this phone
but, expect lag or error because this is medium phone if you want fast and power full phone..try LG Optimus 2x to up. Why some people want they want that phone can't. Respect the speed of phone, it can help to your phone to stay on you for long time. ^_^
Medium Fixed for lag or next time you run the game not loaded.
Just go to application setting and find the game that not running, press it and you can see the option:
force stop
uninstall
clear cache
move to phone/move to SD
just click =clear cache after that exit.
now go back to home screen and make sure no others program are running. now open your game you want.
