by the way I'm using lg optimus net p690 from past one month i would like to say its great its best its rocking I am very happy of lg p690 and 100% recommend if you like it then go an buy it after that depend on you because your hard earned many and i have one more salutation for those in confusion go to any nearest mobile showroom check with yourself then you will know which one best for you

lg is best if you are big fan of htc then you go with htc and another thing lg has better display i checked with myself in mobile shop

masud, 24 Dec 2011yap may be u r right bt u forgot that u shud compare all th... moreabout cost...galaxy mini, htc explorer, optimus net cost around Rs.10,000 and wildfire s, galaxy ace and xperia mini around Rs.13,500 and galaxy y around Rs.7,000.
I compared galaxy mini with galaxy ace or optimus net with wildfire s n all...because most of our friends are confused about which phone to buy. They were comparing these phones and was only their choice.
I dont want people to get cheated.They should know each and every positives and negatives of these phones and choose wisely. I have suggested my opinion and now its all upto them.

there is only a [+ Add] function but no remove function?

JACK , 23 Dec 2011i think this guy is from htc that`s why he is desperately w... morean increase of just 200Mhz doesnt mean anything although the 600Mhz processor and chipset in explorer is an upgraded one which deals in better performance.
i dont want anyone to buy htc. there isnt any benefit in that for me. i was suggesting some good phones and i dont want people to get cheated.

AnonD-35201, 23 Dec 2011Thanks for your reply.Now is net better in processing than... moreNet has 800mhz clocked Processor where as Explorer has 600mhz clocked but an upgraded processor...Although im not sure about this,Optimus net is better at processing as it has the advantage of 512 mb RAM(over 256 in xplorer) which plays a vital role in multi-tasking...As per gaming,since both have Adreno 200 gpu,they should be ideally the same in performance.The other major thing to consider the amount of user available internal memory as it is critical to install apps from market.Explorer hardly has 90mb where as Net offers about 150 Mb.hope i answered your questions.

I am using optimus net from past 2 weeks and no problems faced.
good battery backup(1 & half day with 3g and gps on).
can handle hd games.
divx/xvid out of the box.
gps locked in under 10 sec.
can play 720p like knife on butter.
good touch response.
and most imp no restart till date.

Comparing Samsung Galaxy y, galaxy ace, galaxy mini, sony ericsson xperia mini, LG Optimus NET, HTC wildfire s and HTC explorer:
Galaxy Y, which has got more than 93% of daily interest in gsmarena, is a low graded android phone with only 290 MB RAM, 2MP camera, low resolution display(240x320), no adobe flash support and poor battery.
Galaxy ace - Only 278MB user available RAM, better dislpay(320x480), no flash support, average camera performance and poor codec support.
Galaxy mini - Low screen resolution(240x320), poor build quality, average camera and poor video recording, no adobe flash support.
Xperia mini - good display(320x480) but small screen size results difficulty in texting, OVERHEATING PROBLEMS, good camera, flash support, users Xperiancing lot of complaints. My suggession dont go for it.
Optimus Net - Ugly looks, poor UI, 512MB RAM and 800Mhz processor, hangs ocassionally, good camera and display(320x480).
HTC Wildfire S - Sense UI, cute looks, superb build quality, gorilla glass, 418MB user available RAM, good display(320x480), Ultra fast boot times, only flash lite support, average camera and video quality. NO other problems or complaints.
HTC explorer - Sense UI v3.5, excellent build quality, 408MB RAM, Adobe flash support, good 3MP camera, good display(320x480), good sound quality with SRS enhancement and 5.1 surround, only 90 MB internal storage.no complaints reported.
My current phone is the HTC explorer and trust me android with htc sense 3.5 is awesome.its a nice piece of cake.
The galaxies are built with cheap quality plastics and the xperia mini is troublesome.optimus net got high configuration on paper but sometimes it hangs and will crash while multi tasking.HTC got their reputaion in build quality and the amazing sense UI v3.5 so, My suggession is to go for either wildfire s(if you want more internal storage) or explorer(if you want to explore the sense 3.5 and flash support).
