After nine months with this phone, I love it so much. My boy dropped and tortured it so bad but nothing wrong happened to this phone. To date, it managed to pass over hundred drops, dozens hits on wall and heavy uses (i.e. Continuous wifi hotspot over 24 hours). Many people concern its battery but you should be aware that this issue depends on your usage. In fact I am satisfy with its battery. Full charge in the morning, take bus for 12 hours travel, over 3 hours of music play on the bus, about 2 hourson web browsing over mobile network, GPS on for occasional location check, about half hour calls and about half hour of p puzzle game, it showed 45% of remaining battery energy. This is my regular usage and I have no complaint. Link2sd will help you increase storage for apps and games but you must root your phone. I use Apex free launcher for ease of customization. This is my first time with LG and totally it is good.

It will not support flash player.It will not play flash file from the internet.

Good phone all around.
Battery does not last long, but still longer than a Galaxy S2 - just apply basic android tips (disable gps,bluetooth,3g if not needed etc).
Very small internal storage, must be rooted (in order to use link2sd) to be really usable.

Frank, 19 Aug 2012Guys if you are an Andriod User , normaly the battery will ... moreunfortunately, it may be that your standards are set low due to past experience. my nexus one lasted a full 2 days or more when the battery was new; even after 2.5 years, the battery lasts over 20 hours on standby - no such thing for this NEW phone I bought. The battery life is probably the worst I have seen on any new phone I have used in the past 12 years.

I bought this phone recently in the UAE. Its a piece of #$*&. The battery drains in less than a day with minimal usage (mostly on standby). The andriod implementation is buggy-most key presses are either not recognised or are repeated. The spellchecker is just wrong. I used a nexus one before this phone and that 2.5 year old phone had better response, longer battery life and just worked (and this is after 2.5 years of use and abuse).
Whats good is the hard keys below the display which I found to be useful. The dual sim functionality is also useful (but thats what I bought the phone for).
My other major complaint is about how the internal memory runs out in no time. Even though the SD card is ample (8 gigs), it doesnt help that if you install all the basic google services (maps, play, latitude), you effectively eat up over 80% of the internal memory.
The LG apps included are useless and just more bloatware eating up the memory; there is even no way of controlling the Dual SIM functionality if you use a custom theme.
I though that I should root this phone to tweak some performance and memory out of it, but after reading online, it doesnt help much so I decided not to.
A huge disappointment; I agree the price is low but thats no excuse for a non functioning phone.

do not buy this mobile. lot of software issues and no software update from lg. most of the times phone does not detect sim cards. customer support is very bad.

Can you turn off one sim and just have one sim active for incoming calls? eg: on weekends when you don't want calls on the business sim?

Pls need update, incoming call is some freezy and delayed, calendar reminder notification doesnt work when in silent mode.. update for the adroid os pls

No recommending this phone. I Have many issues under warranty period of this phone.
It has many issues when use the dual sim.
Signal strength is very bad when use both sim.
Battery very poor.
Abans Sri lanka LG agent was unable to give me solution for my issues of the mobile.

Guys if you are an Andriod User , normaly the battery will not last long ,, Ah smart Phone Needs to meet a Smart user ,, so dont ask why this phone can be used only for 18 - 20hr stanby mode and 8 - 15hr with the wifi on , downloading and playing games from andriod ,, in fact the phone is much better that gallaxy Y, gallaxy Pocket and Duos , this phone has a good camera and very nc sreen resolution .. =) LG is for gamers ,, im using LG Optimus 3D , Lg optimus Net P698 ..

battery backup 5-6 hrs heavy use. with gps and wifi 3-4 hrs.
internal memory sufficient 168.76 mb.
camera 3 mp crisp photos without flash.
nice inbuilt application manager app.
best android phone in the range of less than Rs 10,000.
quick toggle sim hard button.

I‘ve using this phone for 7 six month, is bit good my problem is battery life is short need to charge at least every 8hours. signal strengh is very poor, if are using one network the other goes off. internal memory is low

Its a Dabba Phone.......... Main Problem is Battery Back-up is not good..... its a worst battery backup
shame this handset.... same to LG Compnany
