Hi friends,
I just upgraded my optimus one to gingerbread, overall good, good touch experiance, supporting MARATHI language but galary going ugly with 8 GB memory card :-( n diodict dictionary missing in 2.3
can anyone suggest me what to for accessing offline dictionary !!!

Installd 2.3 and now when i call or get a call the proximity sensor turn the screen off so i cant use the screen and end the call :(

Amazing phone: absolute value for money.
Was comparing HTC Wildfire with this. However the hands on experience proved that this phone is much better than the HTC wildfire..

AnonD-13815, 01 Sep 2011i have been using this phone for a month and i dint find an... morego to wireless and network settings.click wiFi settings. turn on WiFi. you will see the available wiFi networks.if the WiFi is not in that list, scroll down the list. at the end you will see "add WiFi network" option. click on it. enter WiFi name and password.i think this will work.

I just updated to Andorid 2.3 from LG Service center. it is good. it took only 1/2 an hour.
I got good customer service from LG.

Guys i had updated my ph to 2.3.3 gingerbread it is good and
display clarity improved & icons colourfull touch sence improved .not bad good

i have been using this phone for a month and i dint find an option to enter proxy..due to this i am not able to use wi-fi in my collee which needs a proxy to be entered

Hi friends,
I had updated my optimus to Gingerbread thru LG Service centre. It is quick and will take less than 30 min. My software version is now 2.3.3 (v20b). After upgrading to GB, my mobile display is now more brighter and touch more accurate & smooth. I can't see any major change in the interface except some colour icons in settings menu & Black color notification area. Audio & Video player had now more functions. Some in-built applications like Facebook, Twitter, OL file manager and LG software notification application is missing. But downloaded this from the market. Don't forget to backup the Contacts, messages, phone settings & applications before backup. I used Mybackup pro for this and restored after the upgrade.
I am also using Go Launcher EX which is awesome.
