Hi my friends,
I have a simple query on " How to activate silent mode during receive of phone call ?" I mean when the phone rings,we need to drag the accept button to the right to receive the call and during such interval the phone rings continuously without any option to activate silent mode and think whether to receive or not.I think NOKIA has this feature.

of the galaxy 3 and this optimus 1 p500, which one is better, as till now lg is known for battery backup and short life of phone[max 1 & half year] while specification wise samsung is not that updated, or I should wait for any new model from samsung which matches optimus,
kindly advise..

I do not agree with any... moreGuess you have misunderstood what I was trying to say.
I'm not saying that the battery is bad when compared to other Androids in its class! I'm saying the battery life is not good overall!! There will be people here for who battery life is more important than having an Android. For them these phones are not the best idea. Charging phone everyday may not be acceptable/possible for everyone. Further, O1 seems to take over 3 hrs to charge fully.
Touch sensitivity is subjective. O1 screen does not register very light touches. You may like it that way but some like me would prefer it to be more sensitive.
In my case the loudspeaker is neither "very" lound nor very clear at higher volumes. Would appreciate if other users here comment on the sound quality of the loudspeaker at higher volumes.
Further, regarding battery back up time, users may note that it depends a lot on the network, as mentioned by someone earlier. Amongst the operators I'v used in Poona (India), I get the longest battery life with Idea (best & strongest network) and least with Reliance GSM (horrible network. Will eat your battery even when signal is strong). Docomo is somewhere in between.

Finaly I am able to do all the fun on my O1.
As now I am able to connect my phone with market with Aircel itself and in good speed :)
Friends what are best free/cheap racing games in market.
One more thing the Notificatin area shows only one download at a time but when i wrap it on the top count of all download shows. Is it stremline type of download(one after anotheer).Is it fine that only one download shows in Notification area in one time.(When one app starts installing the next other download shows).Plzz Clear my doubt

go to his marriage . . he has the videos of his
marriage and wants to send those to me. . . . . but

i upgraded my firmware to 10c... moreHi User,
This is just a firmwire update,ie flashing tweeks,Not installing another OS version or UI for a phone,So all your data remains intact .
Its only for safetly we take a backups so if anyerrors we could fix it
EG:Installing XP from start and installing service pack is different

i upgraded my firmware to 10c and it said upgrade complete even my phone shows android version 2.2.1 and 10c however all my contacts and downloaded applications are there untouched so was the upgrade successful or not???
upgradation is supposed to delete all the data right??
