Hi All,
Am from Mumbai, willing to buy my first andriod...
was comparing samsung g3 and lg optimus 1...
pls. suggest the best one for me...
also some Qs pertaining to LG 1 -
is word,excel, ppt and pdf supported (read as well as edit) in LG optimus 1 supplied in India?
pdf might be read only like in E series or BB...
are youtube,orkut and yahoo mail appl/client preinstalleted ?
is LG opti 1 upgradeable to 2.3 gingerbread?

that also works,make sure serivces are running by checking in settings -manage services
he had stated as follows,
open any text input method like messaging and long press on compose messge would pop up keyboard,
select teh keyboard

I am using the handset for the past one week the handset is awesome
but i have a problem when i restart the phone i loose the connectivity for the GPRS then i have to reboot the phone by removing the battery and then it starts working.
is is a handset issue or a network issued can u please help me

the battery is 1500mAh which is the max u would find in ANY phone these days......people do have a habit to criticize LG and doubt there capability but its not true,coz after using moto,SE Ifound lg better.hope it helps..

[deleted post]On the subject of cookie i did check the voice recorder on my cookie fresh GS 290 this morning and was most suprised at the very loud volume it produced. If you get the chance check it out when set at full volume and you will also be amazed.

Anonymous, 20 Dec 20101. I bought this fone a month back and it already has scrat... moreu can go for aircel or airtel.i have used both of them n found aircel marginally faster,though many wont agree on that........the tariff on aircel is unlimited so it comes in handy while teethering....

1. I bought this fone a month back and it already has scratches.Haven't been able to find the original scratch guard.. can I use the local ones? Or will they harm the screen. Need help soon. The fone has already started looking old.
2. Can I connect my external hard disk to it directly? If yes then how? My laptop is not working and I need urgent access to my backup.
3. How to install flash on the fone?
4. Suggest a good data plan for the fone. I'm currently using vodafone mobile connect and its kinda exorbitant.
