1.is there any way to uninstall the pre installed apps?
2. whenever i open the pre-installed dictionary,it shows a warning that "can not find sd card or can not read DB file" what to do?

Why is it that people are posting completely opposite opinion about battery back up after GB update?
can anyone name a free musicplayer with equalizer? can the apps be bought using bank debit cards or is it a must to have credit cards?

Regarding on Flash player support of this phone:
A big YES, if you are running with GB, you must install Flash player 10.2, and that flash player works only with the default browser, Never use any other browser if you want to experience it. If you dont have Flash player 10.2, just tell me your email add. then i will send it up to you.
Note: Just set your plug-in "Always On" in your default browser.

This is an awesome phone. Does everything I need. I wish the screen was a little bigger, but it's fine for what I need it for.
Installed lots of games and apps. Never had any issues with crashing. I use it on a pay as you plan. I find there are so many hot spots for free internet I'm always connect to the web.
The phone looks and feels good.
I liked it enough to buy my kids one when they were on sale a FutureShop for $54

for all those who r wondering for gingerbread update
i haven't seen any problem in the new os..
i hv updated using the lg software update tool
the best, easiest and the safest way to get gingerbread..i suggest using only that..
its a 117mb os update file n 15mb drivers if u r using the update tool for the 1st time
it hardly took 30mins for me to get that done.. depends on ur net speed
the best thing about updating through that tool is that the os gets changed/updated without affecting any of ur file installed/saved on the fone..
so u need not worry to take any sort of back up..
i hv updated my os 4-5 times using that tool n i know well
bt if u get the update from customer center then their update tool does a foctory reset after the os update
though after updating i also did a reset of my fone..to get the fell of new os :) which is useless indeed
i was disappointed because my dictionary is gone..the default one which came with my fone and was there in all foryo updates
bt apps like ndrive, maps, thinkfree, bollywoodji etc. are there....
and most stupid thing ws that there is no file manager pre installed in the new os..
so get oi file manager or astro watever u like from the market..
also it showed only 153mb available after the factory reset..kind of wired thing..
bt getting the new os, gingerbread is worth it
get it as soon as possible

->go to default android contacts
->select the contact name to open the contact
->press the left soft key
->select option
->now u vl see two options..to assign ringtone for the contact and to send the call on voicemail
->select the send to voicemail option
->now wen that person will call u it vl say that u r busy :)
so its not only on u sony fone
bt also there in ur android fone
keep voting for optimus one :)
the best fone in its range.....

I am in use of the above fone. I am used to Sony Ericsson so much that the use of it can not go off my mind:
On Sony, i can decide on whom I want through if I decide NOT to talk to every tom, dick and harry!
