09 April, 2012

It appears then LG isn't going to be happy with Samsung stealing all the spotlight in May. All the latest rumors suggest the Galaxy S III will launch in a few weeks, and we now hear that LG is preparing to launch a similarly powerful smartphone next month.

The upcoming LG flagship is reportedly going to be called D1L and is built around a 4.7-inch HD display. It should be powered by the Qualcomm MSM8960 chipset (dual-core 1.5GHz Krait CPU, Adreno 225 GPU) and feature LTE connectivity.

The D1L should become the first LG device to run the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich out of the box, when it launches in the a 3 to 4 weeks' time.
