Bought AT&T Model. Using Indian Airtel Sim. Updated to Mango 7.5, working fine, awesome device.

harsh, 01 Apr 2012does anybody know , how to unlock this phone from at&t ... moreworks beautifully in India - data, voice, sms. Only issue - accepts 3g sim only. the old bsnl 2g sim does not work. use the bsnl settings as for iphone

I bought the LG Quantum because of it's slide out keyboard and the Windows Phone operating system. All of the Windows Phones basically perform the same and they perform really well. Please do an internet search for the "Smoked by Windows Phone" videos before you buy anything other than a Windows Phone. The people who posted bad things about Windows Phones on this site are people who are mad they bought lesser phones for more money. The only real complaint I have of the LG Quantum is the Bluetooth radio is really weak. If the phone is more than 1 or 2 feet away from the bluetooth earpiece my voice gets distorted. My previous HTC phones allowed me to walk at least 30 feet away from the phone before my voice would become distorted. Otherwise, this is a great phone.

1. Hows much the battery lasts on average usage of like 2 hours of talk 10-15 msgs and 1hr of net surf.
2. Is the earpiece gives some noise while talking over the phone.
3. Will this phone get locked again after updating to Mango

The LG Quantum is a sturdy phone and qwerty keyboard is great. I'm a blue collar owner and I find many of the windows programs useless. The missing flash becomes a pain after a few months and having to connect to a PC to receive updates is ridiculous. This phone takes video too, but you can only upload the video to a pc, can email or upload to FB. I WOULD NOT recommend a Windows phone to those with the primary objective of visiting social networks. Hell, I wouldn't recommend a windows phone to anyone. Don't waste your money...

With Mango update its great, not as many apps as android or apple but all in all, the phone is smooth, great browser,no flash though :(. Recommended, just wish they let me connect to invisible wireless signals...

just ordered lg quantum bell mobility from ebay canada for 205$ .... Waiting for arrival in india :)
Am just little skeptical whether it will wok on airtel gsm india..
