I HATE THIS PHONE. I have had 2 different replacements for this phone with the same problem. The port where the charger goes is horrible. After a couple months it goes bad. Then the battery is horrible. The phone over heats at dies quickly. If you leave the phone on the charger too long, it over heats and turns off. Worst phone ever.

I was very impressed with this phone when I first got it, but I was coming from a Samsung Epic. The speed is very nice, the phone has a nice weight to it, and it doesn't look too tiny in my hands. The screen is gorgeous as are the colors. In stock trim it runs pretty well, but root it and load BioHazard Kitchen OTA ROM and it's a complete beast. The only downside I can cite is a crap battery life easily rectified by a battery upgrade.

This is literally the WORST phone I have ever had. The battery only last a hour or 2 at most, the 3d sucksssssss it takes 15 mind to load a single web page and I can't evn Egypt the updates no matter what I do. Att says it doesn't support it. Apple would literally shut this crappy phone out. I BEG you not to get it after a week Boylan no joke sucks so badly you want to kill yourself. You can't do ANYTHING on it without it messing up. Yeah its only 100 dollars but after a week when you want to break your contract to get a iPhone it'd gonna be 500 dollars. After a month with this phone I am getting the iPhone. BYE ANDROID YOU SUCK SO BADLY

Dial 3845#*925# or 3845#*920# (if not work 1st one) and then find "Connectivity Test". Click it on and unchecked "Entitlement".
Back and try to enable "Portable Hotspot" from "Settings".

Love this phone. I wish they would make another with a longer lasting battery but that's the worst i could say about it. The 3D is so amazing and everytime I show it to someone that don't want to give it back. Sure hope they are going to keep it around, maybe they need to think of putting something like Suri on it but call it DROID.

For the listed capabilities of this phone, it's performance is horrible! After upgrading to 2.3, the phone takes forever to boot (~6 minutes).
Frequently, the front-end software will crash. Then, you can't shut down the phone or power it off. Removing the case and pulling the battery is the only option.
Camera is very slow to respond. Between the first audible shutter 'click' to the taking of the picture is several seconds. Occasionally, the first audible click will occur and then you'll be kicked back out to the desktop, with no picture taken.
The SD card arrangement in this phone is awful. The only way to save data to the SD card is to manually transfer it using a file browser app. Very strange the way the SD card implemented and is not recognized by the phone.
The thing will also slow to a crawl after using a few apps, to the point it will just freeze and will require battery removal to shut down.
Stay away from it!

Awnd, 27 Jul 2012when will the update to ICS or jelly bean?Yeah right. It took forever to get Gingerbread. ICS or Jellybean will never happen with this phone even though it is powerfull enough to handle them both

I can be in downtown Portland with a group of iPhone users and while they are using their phones freely, I am lucky to be able to make a phone call. It's not the AT&T network, it this phone! I hate it.
