LG to launch the G Watch R in Europe in November for €299

08 October, 2014

A couple of days ago we reported that LG is planning to launch the circular G Watch R in South Korea on October 14, but in Europe those eager to get a hold of the smartwatch will have to wait a bit longer. The LG G Watch R has been listed by a retailer in the Netherlands suggesting the watch will arrive in the week of November 3 - 7.

The price of the LG G Watch R is higher than its G Watch predecessor. The circular smartwatch will cost €299, compared to the €199 for the square.

In terms of specs, the smartwatch has a rounded screen complete with a 1.3″ rounded POLED (plastic organic light-emitting diode) 320 x 320 display, Snapdragon 400 chipset and a 410mAh battery that will reportedly be able to endure for one day and a half to two days with the always on feature enabled. The watch is also IP67 certified.

If you are wondering if the G Watch R is worth the money, you can check out our hands-on of the smartwatch. Certainly, it looks a lot better than its square brother.
