LG Town C300 offers QWERTY and social networking for 80 euro

23 September, 2010

LG drove into the next Town - the LG Town C300 takes off from where the GW300 left and sprinkles social networking to sweeten the deal on a sub-100 euro phone. Unlike the Town GT350, this one is a bar, just like the GW300, but slims things down to 11.9 mm of thickness.

The LG Town C300 carries over most of the GW300 specs - 2.4" QVGA screen, full QWERTY keyboard, microSD card slot, 2MP camera and no 3G. Don't stop reading just yet, wait till you hear the price.

The LG Town C300 will go for 69 pounds or 80 euro or 108 US dollars. Convert it into any currency you like, QWERTY-packing phones with push email and real-time Facebook and Twitter status updates for less than 100 euro are as rare as pink unicorns.

The LG Town C300 will be available in the UK through Orange, Phones4U and Tesco "shortly" (there's no exact date so far).

Stolen design from the Samsung B3210. Don't believe me ? Just compare them side by side (even the back side is IDENTICAL).
