I am using this phone for 1.5 years. its great . i am writting this with this phone. for loudspeaker press & hold " c " for 3s. & i am using a 512 mb micro sd card for 6 months. its good . life great.

i have been using this phone for last three months but i have not found the option of handsfree its headset works fine but i doubt it has any loud speaker to talk.can any one tell me how the usb port works of this phone?

Well I Have Used A iot of smartphones and all that.But this lgu8290 that i am using now rocks!Great Handfree,Bluetooth,Mp4,Mp3.
oh and did i tell you about the best camara i haver seen!Photos Were Very Clear!Only Problem is its Multimedia player Sometimes even if its in correct format it says its not supported?Still best Phone in Bangladesh at low cost

probably the quality of the mp3 song is not meet the requirement in the LGU8200, use some program to fix the song to 64kbps or 128 kbps, i believe it'll play well on your phone. Some good program such as "Nero Wave Editor",

my mp3 on my phone does not work.can download mp3,s but when plaing it says file type not supported.can you possibly help me in any way

Hi! I'm Sanjeed from Bangladesh. I'm using U8290 for last six months or so. And my experience is awsome. Its really a good phone. But I disagree with GSMArena cause it has only 20 MB shared memory. But all in all a good phone to buy.

few days ago i bought LG U8290 from Dhaka,BANGLADESH.it's a magnificent set!the charge continue up to 2 and half days. camera is nice. bluetooth works. it's theme are not available but you can save wallpaper,midi,mp3,aac tone,mp4,3gp on it. if you need further information about this handset please mail me asandhi@gmail.com.

my bad!!! I was wrong! My new trans-flash 512 MB works perfect on LG 8290!!!
This phone is a very good device and very cheap! I recomend it!

first of all, i've got the LG 8290 which is the same phone from T-mobile but with changed buttons, micro-sd instead of mini-SD and 20 mb of memory vs. 64 mb in this phone(no card in the box). Bebore buying this thing i thought that i would use the mp3 player a lot (and that i would buy a micro-sd 512 or 1 GB) but when i read the manual a had a shock: The card is restricted at 256 MB !!!! The battery only lasts 2 days in a normal use! :(
On the other hand i was surprised by the remote control on the hands-free. It ha buttons for the player and a jack so i can connect it with the stereo in my car or with am amp. It also makes very good videos and photos. the main screen is wonderful.

As i know, model name of this model are changed to "U8290". And keypad design is changed also (i think, better than this).

As far as I know, you can't get this model at 3 shop. I heard that this model would be only for T-mobile and the arena will be germany and U.K.

This phone is a GREAT change from the previous U8*** series. I'm glad that its smaller too and has external memo. The only thing wrong with it is the key pad... i have to say i prefered the original U series keypad.
Apart from that VERY nice phone. I am in a toss up about whether to wait for this phone or just to get the U8360 that has just been released in Australian 3 shop...

You have the wrong information.
I got Sample of LG U8200 handset and have been using it. TransFlash Card is very small and cute. If you want to use Transflash card in your digital camera, you may use adapter for mini SD or SD card.
Could you be more stupid..Please, study before shouting out!
