Great phone, bought unlocked on ebay. Had a little problem getting the thing working with my pc but got there in the end. One question though: transfer of pictures from my pc to phone- i get a phone message saying `file format not supported`. Tried all types of files, jpg, gif etc with same result. Phone has almost totally free memory. Anyone got an answer please?

gmail settings for mobile :¶ +incoming mail server : pop.gmail.com¶ pop3 port: 995¶+outgoing mail server:¶ smtp.gmail.com¶ smtp port: 465 or 587¶ user name= ur gmail ID¶ password= ur gmail password¶ *dont forgot to activate ur pop3 account from www.gmail.com as pc not phone.

this phone is really good.
you need to understand how to use it.
i managed to connect it with a computer
through the usb port.
now i can transfer photos,mp3 music,
videos. sound quality is good.
video quality is not good a night without
proper lighting. i am happy with this phone.

I want to download tones to be used for sms on the LG U8330.Can I do this or can I only use the 8 tomes that are standard on the phone

hello people. Well for those who want the software, go to lgmobile.com and select europe then UK (united kingdom) as country , otherwise you won't fine This model. If you can't get it send me a mail, and i'll send you a link to download the driver software to hellosalutcct@hotmail.com . And for the infrared it is just for send data via pc. I think this will be usefull. Next.
