this fone is the bomb!! i love it, the picture is da best and the vidioes are good, i have bluetooth and i have downloaded the best tracks, my first flip fone was a motoroler v220 but that is nothing compared to the LG U8380

.....best sound ever...just made the crazy frog feat. axel f. 3gp stereo 4 video call screening and....man....wow...is so loud & so clear i can' believe it...i mean ..yeah ..the video has 9.50 mb..but what the hey..i dont't think i can post the software i used ...but 4 what is worth...keep looking 4 it!!ps: don't put songs with no quality in it ..u'll just make everybody laugh some more considerring the size..weight..foto...video...& stuff....i's a great phone ...but it takes 1 2 know 1 !!!! b-bye excuse my english ...never learnd it.....from romania with love..

This phone isnt a brick just coz it looks like a brick feels like a bick,wieghs the same amount as a brick and comes in the same colour's bricks do......There is NO reason to think it a brick.......This phone looks great...LOL

This phone is the best!, it has everything you need, 1.3 megapixel camera with flash , video playback, mp3 player, bluetooth and you can hook it up to your computer!!!. I got the LG U8380 in blue it is so cool, and i have $120 to spend each month so im havin heaps of fun with it. This phone is great if you like music because it has an expansion slot which can take up to 1 GIG of memory. It has the biggest external screen of any other phone and is so easy to read outdoors with 65K screen. You can also read messages without opening the phone. The internal screen offers a clear picture with a 256K colour screen. The keypad of this phone is well set up with the buttons well spread out , this makes texting easy. this phone is so packed with features you can also use this phone as a WEBCAM. The phone comes with a disk that allows your phone to communicate with the phone...GREAT

Hi ive heard that the u8380 is a brick of a phone is that true and how does the quality and loudness of sound compare to other fones?

I recently contracted a 8380 for 3 network, and plan to upload some game into it with gthing,
but when i run the portfind for imei code, it just don't response at all.....
Anyone experienced the same thing?

I like the phone. I like that LG is taking features from every company and tries to combine that features in a good,fine way. I think the best feature of him is music, i like his 3D sounds. His camera is not so very bad, i like that you can do pictures at 1280*960, but... at videos it has a (-). I've put some videos to him and the seeking is a little bit slow. It is a good phone !

You can get up 512MB T-Flash, I have one installed and works fine...

You need to put the sim card in before you activate any phone. Commonsence! To use the webcam on this phone you need to be on 3 service. Its 3G to webcam. Currently your on 2G service with your phone company.
This is a top phone with the Remote control its great. I store lots of family photos, lots of family videos with the ocasional naked girlfriend. But on Sounds I have music and my recorded conversations. if i dont have a pen to write down a number i record the conversation. And Games are great
yes its a good phone.

Christie, Video confrencing is to see and talk to another person. Similar to web cam!
You need to be on what they call 3G service the carrier that i know has it is 3. some countries dont have it a 3G service. You would be on a 2G service now in that case you can't use Video confrencing. hope that answers your question.
