Something bothers me.......how come that other lg cell's that are inferior to the u8550 have 256k and this one who has wide lcd has only 65k.And I have 2 questions!is the memory card included in the packege?and second in the pictures of the pfone is a little lcd next to the speackers(or i think is an lcd)pls tell me what is with that!!!10x

i like the color but it is ugly it is the biggist pice of junk i have ever had it dosent even work like a real cell it blocks some people

This phone is greate, battery is good, good camera quality.The display isen't as large as i thought.The phone is kind of big.For that king of money is the best phone....is as good as it gets

As per the statistic on the specifications part it says 256K!

Man I don't know 65K or 262K colours display is, but I can tell you that the displey is perfect. I sow a lot of phones with 262K colours display and you can't see any diferense, even more.... it looks better then them. So dont worry about the displey, it's enough good quality.

So what! The display is perfect! I can say that this phone is great. Realy good sound, better then Walkman series of Sony Ericsson (W550 W800) Camera is with good quality, perfect displey, bluetooth, external memory slot, for that money it's really perfect phone. The battery life is great at least 5 days with 2 hours MP3 listening per day

The internal display is not 256k...It's 65k

The bluetooth is off ...i never leave it on ... it have a problem ... a change it with another phone green ... :) ...i hope this phone works better ... keep in touch...:)

Well the battery is great. At least 5 days with a lot of use - Mp3, video clips, talk. Check the bluetooth :) it might be turned on

I have a problem with this phone.
I buy it 7 day's ago and i charged and the baterry is off in 2 days. ANOTHER problem is that phone begins to vibrate and he's closing and i have to remove the baterry and putt it back if i whant that phone to work.
He make's that 2 time's a day.

can someone please tell me how this phone conects with computer. I got instalation cd with phone but xp sp2 won't install usb drivers???? phone is perfect but this?????

Romania is full of this phone , even dough LG Romania didn't intend to make this model available to the romanian market.
Personally i have 80 pcs on sale , green & orange .

I have the green one. what can I say? it's perfect. yes u can use mp3 as ring tones. you can connect to the pc by usb. if u compare it with the other lg phones you will see that it has all the features + bluetooth + very good camera @ a decent price.
only one question that I haven't got an answer yet: what is the maximum transflash memory card that can be used with the LG U8550?

Just to make myself clear, the 2.2 inches (56 mm) is measured diagonally across the screen. From corner to corner like all tvs and such. the actual width of the screen is about 39.5 mm.

The actual size of the screen is 2.2 inches across (56 mm) which equates to a screen width and height of just over 39.5 mm. I have also read they that the overall size of the phone is 90 x 55 x 24.7 mm. One very chunky phone really.
