i had predecessor, some definate improvements with this fone, mp3's can also be bluetooth'd ova, dont necessarily need usb cable. Problem with internal aerial still remains and tend to lose 3 signal at certain places, having to change network manually a bit of a pain. Overall a good fone, loads more memory and functionality very usable.

hi all
i have had my phone since january, mind you its the second one already due to its poor battery performance....lasts only one day...two days if your lucky without recieving phone calls....does anyone have the same problem

nice phone! smart but i'm dissappointed with the battery:only 4 days!!!!!!!too less!!!but for 150 euro i think its worth it ;) dont buy one make our lg u880 owners club more selective :P ceau

i am thinking about getting this phone in a while because it has good camera its slim and its with 3 so you can watch mtv and get music and big brother and stuff

this is the best phone it is really easy to use & it has mp3 player which is really good .. mine jst got stolen so im trippin but if ya thinkn about gettin a new phone this one is great :)

i think the fone is gd~ the only reason y ppl think is bad is cuz they are in american while the fone was made more for an asian/uk market which is the cause of the "confusing" control... different "customs" i guess... really though... it only took me about 1 hr to know all the functions/hotkeys on the fone
mp3 is pretty gd, camara is not that gd in poor lit areas(thing doesnt have camara light thing), no u dont need memory card to wwork it, it will support 1 gb memory card, can use a normal/old sim card doesnt nnecessary need a usim as it saids it does
over all i think is great

hey im considering buying this phone i have put a deposit on it at a local retail shop that has the LGU880 but i have read some of the reviews,very confusing may i add..some viewers see the phone as their worst nightmare and it was a waste of money, yet others see it as the best coolest phone ever produced...i would jsut like some advice of whom ever it is whether i should go ahead for the phone, is the mp3 good,is the camera quality good, do i have to buy a memory stick for the fone, or is it able to still be used without a memory stick.?any more opinions for myself would be greatly appreciated..thankyou

erm...i think it was trew that asked.
in england, i can unblock an lg 3 phone and use any other national sim card in that phone. but i cannot use the 3 sim in any other phone. a 3 sim card will only work on a 3 phone.
i didnt quite get your question but i hope this will help:)
