hi, i am thinking about buyin this phone and i was wondering if the 1.3 megapixel camera is as good as other 1.3 megapixel on other phones and is the screen big and clear enough to view the photos nicely

Hi, anybody knows why i cant seem to transfer sms(s) onto my laptop? The first time it was ok, I tranferred all of them onto my PC but the second time i tried to do that, my messages simply cant be transferred although there are about 310 of them in my phone! I wonder why? help?

I'd like some help.
After I connected the phone to my PC, the messages cannot be detected by the software though there're lots of them in the phone.
Another problem is I dunno why time doesn't show on the main screen... kinda troublesome that I have to close the phone and check the front screen everytime.
Can anyone tell me what to do?

Hi i got this phone yesterday and im just wondering what bluetooth is? Can someone please explain simply what it is and do i need a headset thing to make it work? Does cruising through planet 3 cost? I would also like to know how to transfer songs from computer to phone...do i need one of the programs that i installed from the software cd?
But so far this phone looks excellent i am jsut clueless...

Hey i have a little problem.And he is when i turn the phone on right or left the foto-camera start to be something like tribal.Its make me nervous.Does someone have the same problem?

That phone is the best.Im doing a lot fun things with that beauty.I have watch TV at almost of the time and its not expencive to watch it!With a stereo and bass im the best.

I had the problem of not being able to connect to the phone through the phone manager software. I changed my handset theme from extreme to normal and then I was able to connect.

Hello, I have the phone and I like it a lot.
I think I'll buy a transflash card soon, but, what size of card does the phone accept?
Does it accept all sizes? 256MB? 512MB? 1GB?
I wouldn't like to buya card and then find that the phone doesn't handle its size!

My wife bought this phone "on her own" without consulting me. Now I have to help her out with everything. I'm amazed to see all the good reviews it has received. I must say the phone is 100% rubish.
1) The user interface is very counterintoutive. She can't figure out how to do things. (She even admits her old SE T68i was much easier to deal with. We still havent figured out how to make a call from the contacts...
2) Bluetooth impelemtation is primitive like hell. For instance transfering 100 songs to the memory card has to be done in ten batches. This as it can only be received to the "bluetooth files" folder in the phone memory which only has 70 MB free. The transfer from the phone memory to the memory card is panfully slow too. In conclusion, loading the memory card with music is a painful process taking several hours with lots of user intenventions. On SOnyEricsson phones the music can be directly to the memory card, no periodic user intenvecntion is needed.
3) The camera is the worse I've ever seen. A good VGA camera takes pics that are much better. I bought A SonyEricsson K510i (1.3 MP cam) to my son yesterday. Pics from that phone are not sllightly better. Fact is I wouldn't want a U880 even if it was thrown at me.
I myself have a SOnyEricsson K750i. Even thou its $200 cheeper than this U880 it does *EVERYTHING* far, far better. /Bengt

it's a toy not a mobile phone. i had the same it fell down and never worked again. i couldn't even change it.

Good phone though battery will not last longer than 48 hours without recharging.

Hmm. I don't know what to say about this phone. I have the white Roberto Cavalli. The design is alright but I'm not sure about the rest. The battery is quite terrible and runs out very quickly and the camera is absolutely dreadful. The phone also lags. I hate it how settings for things like camera always return to default and you have to set them everytime. Personally, I would not recommend this phone. xx
