LG U800 is not LG U8500. They are similar but not the same!! U880 is based on v10a but U8500 is v10c, and also many things are different. If you don't play much with mobile phone, yeah they r the same...

i think its an awsome phone...everyone complains about the battery life...well if u using alot of features ofcourse its gonna drain..derr.charge it for 12 hours when u first get it..dnt be cool n use it straight away. its got all the features u'd want and need in a phone if u want more buy a laptop!!

Seriously cant stand the battery life on this beast, it's terrible. It wont last more than a day...so if you want to go out at night, then bad luck !...you got no phone tomorrow. For this reason i'd say it lags on design and performance. Good features, but wouldn't buy LG again.

had no problems with my battery. tip - charge it fully if u get it b4 u use it takes like 12 hrs like most phones

The LG U880 is one of the best phones around there are lots of other good LG phones around but this one definatly tops the lot.

Battery life is very poor. The phone I originally bought had a battery life of 36 hours on standby. replaced 2 pcb's and one battery on warranty. got phone replaced and the new one has a battery life of 48 hours on standby. very dissappointed. Back to the dealer again!

i had this phone for 8 months - a very long time for me! phone had all the best features-battery life wasnt the greaterst but this was because i used all the features on the phone that drained it!

if you can or can´t play music in the background cleary dempends on witch music player you use.

Its a good phone, i just got it!!
People saying something about playing the Mp3 and not able to function the phone...i don't have that problem..you can set it to "background sounds" and still function your phone.
Battery is standard, lasts about 4 days
Very nice, slim, light, lots of good features.
I guess the only bad thing about it is that it wont play Gif. files/animations transferred to the phone from the PC if the file is over 500kb which sucks.
