LG V35 ThinQ is now just $399.99
LG's G8X might be on the way, but if you don't mind living with a slightly older flagship from the Korean company, Amazon is now holding a sale on the V35 ThinQ. This phone's recommended retail price is $899.99, but you can grab one currently for only $399.99. That's a whopping $500 off and a great value, if you don't mind the associated caveat.
That is the fact that this is a Prime Exclusive device, so you have to be an Amazon Prime member to get it at this price. That means you'll have to live with a "pre-installed selection of Amazon apps", including the Amazon Widget, Amazon Shopping, and Alexa. The assistant is always listening, so you can just say "Alexa" and then ask it to do things for you. You also don't have a choice of colors, it's just the Aurora Black hue that's up for grabs as part of this deal.
Although LG isn't really the timeliest when it comes to updates, Android 9 Pie should already be on the way to the V35. The handset has a 6" QHD+ 18:9 OLED touchscreen, the Snapdragon 845 SoC, 6GB of RAM, 64GB of expandable storage, a dual 16 MP rear camera system (standard + ultrawide), an 8 MP selfie snapper, and a 3,300 mAh battery.
