If you use the best charger with best cable with all shieldings on, nothing should happend.

I got lg v50 thinq recently.(korian version) Overall good performance. But only one issue I have faced. While charging when touching the metal frame, the screen is blinking. If not touching the metal frame the screen is ok.. What can be the issue...

Haz, 03 Oct 2021I have a Korean version. Is it possible to flash global rom? In theory yes, but LG phones have a history of people bricking them by rushing or missing a step during flash rom. You can still roll back with some headaches in case of user error, make a backup of everything inside your phone.
Also if you want to flash because of andoid 11 update, you can see in most ROM sites that only 4 countries have the update and you would need to flash your phone into global rom OS10 then update your way trough until you phone is ready for update 11 that could mean also getting the security patches.

Got my V35 and G8 in android9,
in other hand V50 and V50s in android10.
No regret for using android9.
Having vertical recent task page and faster camera interfact, best of the best.
Android10 lose all these advantage.

Updating android version is the worst thing to think about ever. More RAM consumption, worse battery life, losing vertical recent task page, and I can count it all day.
Just need to know that Korean variant must have shutter sound and there is no buttom to turn it off. This is the biggest different.
You can install some apps for free and do not need root, to mute the shutter sound, up to android 10. You cannot do this in android11 anymore.
So if you concern about this, go for global variant.

It is lighter and smaller than V60
It has no camera bump
It is about 40% cheaper in my location
I'm not really concerned not able to upgrade to Android 12. I'm using V10 on Android 7 and I don't know what I'm mising anyway lol

At this point it would be better to look at the V60 rather than this since this phone next year will be 3 years old with no date to move up to android 12 in sight since we are barely getting 11 just now. I wouldnt get my hopes up the v50 will get android 12.
