Italy: my LG V50 purchased in Korea with the KT brand and unlocked, does not detect the TIM 4G 0 LTE telephone network, does not receive and does not make calls. The strange thing is that in 5G it managed to make calls, but from only one specific area. Other smartphone LG V30 or G6 in 4G or Samsung in 5G in the same conditions have no problems.
Everything seems to be fine, the signal on the screen seems full but the "V50" does not seem to react to incoming or outgoing calls. Who can explain the mystery?

          This was the first version of the dual screen so they might not have the idea :))

          But you will be surprised to know that the dual screen is very unique for LG V50 as the technology they use to cast display is somewhat like near field 5G. Pins at the back are just for power, they don't do any data transfer.
          Other model dual screen's data transfer happens over USB.

                    It is not available on Aliexpress, only a replacement battery...it is available on Taobao, but it is impossible to get it, it needs an intermediary to send it to Europe

                        Bought mine new and have a problem, when i don't use it for a while and tap the screen, it has a lag of 3 sec till it turns on, anyone have the same issue?

                            Buyed lgv50, refarb one from aliexpress for 150$. a real price for this korean shit. a real price for all silicone shit out there. pay more? why? pay less!

                              From LG to Sony, everything is downgraded.
                              Sony don't even put heat pipe or vaper chamber inside their phone. Xperia 1 run hot from generation1 to 4, never had any improvement.

                                South Africa finally has the android 12 update. At least Telkom does. So far I have no complaints. Not many big changes just the privacy stuff that is really noticeable and appreciated. This phone still works pretty well. I am concerned about my choices for an upgrade since LG has called it quits. Maybe I should look into Sony? Hopefully the Experia 5 gen 3 will drop in price once the gen 4 is released. Maybe I should look into a Experia 1 gen 2?

                                      You can find out more by searching the firmware name. Or the last update installed on update history.

                                        bought an used V50, but LM500XM version....and it is still on android 9....it is super great at almost everything, battery life, snappy and all that...but for some reason i cannot upgrade, not even to A10...not sure why...when i got the phone i thought that given that the phone was not in use for more than a year, it was just a matter of connecting to a network and i'd be receiving all of the updates...but...so fat still on A9 and security update from....May 2020! :(...and whenever i try to update it using the phone's own method it says that i am already using the lates software version!...whenever i look for updates...i cannot find information for this XM version...help....
