I really like the phone, but I don't like that the home screen icons don't rotate to landscape. Didn't even know it was water resistant to any depth. Bonus for me. Dual speaker was another bonus that I didn't know it had. I read somewhere that it was going to be able to get Android 13 when it comes out. Mine says it is a model not listed here.LM-G900UM

If you look at it that way, android isn't the spyware, google play services is.

Just check your hidden apps and the app permissions on any phone but especially android phones…they want you to share everything and have no privacy.

Personally recommend u to pick up a cheaper refurb version, loss is smaller if the handset dont work well

LG Velvet 2:
6.7" P-OLED 19:9 ratio curved display with 1080p@90Hz (I know...smaller than the vanilla) with waterdrop notch and Gorilla Glass 5 minimum
8GB RAM/128GB ROM - 8GB RAM/256GB ROM (LPDDR4X/UFS 3.0) with MicroSD card slot
Dimensity 1100 (to keep the price down; still better than the 765G) with all of the existing 4G/5G bands
IP68 with MIL-STD-G certs
Stereo speakers
Headphone jack with a 24-bit DAC (weaker than the V-series)
64MP main sensor with 1.7 apeture and OIS
16MP Ultrawide sensor with 2.4 apeture and EIS
8MP Telephoto sensor with 2.7 apeture and OIS
24MP selfie cam
4,300mAH battery (to keep it slim; at least MediaTek's efficiency would make this battery work perfectly) with 21W/15W wired and wireless charging

$400 for this one as a solid mid-ranger.
I don't care for curved displays but these 2 could attract a good number of folks with solid hardware for the price. Throw in a 3rd generation second screen for just the Velvet 2 that has 1080p@90Hz along with an added 2,700mAH battery and MIL-STD-G rating to protect the phone for $100 extra and that would do it. As long as LG can give it at least one OS upgrade, it's better than nothing.

Samsung, 12 Oct 20201080 display for this price when i got my s9 with a 1440 di... moreBruh this is a MIDRANGE while the s9 is a flagship before so a flagship must have all the bells and whistles while the MIDRANGE has to cut corners to give a lower price. Even though s9 is old it has 1440p because it is a flagship. While the difference is very small from 1440p to 1080p and this lg device could outlast the s9 so much the 765g has the same performance as the old 845 and camera wise their also most the same

The best user interface in the phone industry come from lg.rest of the brand are similar to the last bit.Only with LG do u get the feel you are now entering a different territory.Keep it UP lg..the unsung hero!!

build quality ip rating and a different design can make you buy this phone
also I agree that it's expensive but they lg lower the prices after a few months(same happened with other g series) so there's no reason getting mad mate

Very nice phone with aluminum frame, w/ glass front and back. Affordable phone.
