LG's next smartwatch is rumored to sport a high resolution screen

Vlad, 14 August, 2015

LG is apparently already working on its next smartwatch running Android Wear, according to a new rumor on the matter.

What this rumor goes on to say is that LG's next wearable might come with the highest resolution screen ever seen on an Android Wear device.

This should be a 480x480 panel, though it's still unclear if it will be round or square. If it is round, then it will be quite a lot crisper than the one in the LG Watch Urbane, which comes with 320x320 resolution.

In fact, if we consider the same 1.3-inch size, the new watch should have a pixel density of about 340-400 ppi, whereas the Watch Urbane only boasts 240 ppi.

The next LG smartwatch is currently codenamed Nemo, and that's the only other thing that has been revealed this time around.
