Live photos of the Google Pixel 5 surface, could be called Pixel 5s
A set of Google Pixel 5 renders revealed the design in full last week so the live photos from today serve more as a confirmation but they also add to the mystery surrounding the naming of Google's upcoming smartphone.
One of the photos shows the "About phone" menu and the Pixel 5s moniker appears twice. The leakster also calls the handset by this name so there could be a sudden change of name. When it comes to design, the rear-mounted fingerprint reader, the punch-hole design for the front-facing camera and the rear camera module are all confirmed.
It might be too early to tell but judging by the photo of the back panel, we might be looking at a unibody chassis and since there are no antenna lines in sight, a plastic build is more likely.
New evidence shows that the Now pixel 4a 5G was supposed to be called Pixel 5, Pixel 5 was supposed to be called 5s. So the names we are getting are 4a 5G and 5.
