Motorola W220
The Motorola W220 clamshell would have a RAZR style design, a small external display, a thickness of 17 mm and a weight of only 93 g. It would feature a 900/1800 MHz GSM band support and a relatively small 1.8-inch color CSTN display with a resolution of 128x128 pixels. It would also offer an integrated stereo FM radio and a battery allowing it to last up to 8 hours of talk time and up to 290 hours of standby time.

Motorola W375
The Motorola W375 clamshell would offer a VGA camera, the same external display as W220, a thickness of 18.6 mm, and a weight of 88 g. The handset is further equipped with tri-band GSM support, a color TFT display with a 128x160 pixels resolution, a FM radio with a 2.5 mm stereo jack and a loudspeaker, and a USB connectivity. It supports the use of MP3 files as ringtones and has a built-in memory of 1.5MB. The battery should offer 7.5 hours of talk time and 250 hours of standby time. The Motorola W375 is expected to be available in Q4 2006 in black, white, orange and pink body colors.

Motorola W208
The Motorola W208 is the first of the candybar handsets in the W-series. In fact it's the only bar-shaped phone from the new model series to operate in GSM networks. It would measure only 108×44×15 mm at the meager weight of 78 g. The color TFT display would have a resolution of 128x128 pixels. The phone would also offer a FM radio with a 2.5 mm stereo jack and a loudspeaker, 32-channel polyphonic ringtones, a flashlight and an optional large font interface. The Motorola W208 is expected to be available in Q4 2006 in red/black and silver/black color combinations.

CDMA options
The other two handsets to be released in the W-series are again with a bar-shape design but for CDMA networks only: those are the Motorola W170 and the Motorola W210. The Motorola W170 would feature a 128x128 pixels monochromatic display with a blue backlighting, a FM radio, dimensions of 108×44×15 mm and a weight of 75 g. It is expected to be available in 3Q of 2006. On the other hand the Motorola W210 would feature a color CSTN display with a 128x128 resolution, a built-in flashlight and a FM radio and would have dimensions of 108×44×15 mm and a weight of 75 g. It is expected to be available in 4Q of 2006.
