LTE-enabled LG Optimus F5 now available

29 April, 2013

LG announced the Optimus F5 back in February, prior to the MWC in Barcelona. We were promised the Optimus F5 by the end of Q2 and here it is arriving right on schedule.

The first country to get the LG Optimus F5 is France. The handsets should be available through all major carriers and retailers in the next couple of days. The pricing is yet to be announced.

LG is going to continue the rollout of the Optimus F5 with the rest of Europe, followed by Central and South America, and Asia in the next couple of weeks.

In case you need a refresh, the LG Optimus F5 has a 4.3” IPS LCD screen of qHD resolution (256ppi), a 1.2GHz dual-core processor with 1GB of RAM and a 5MP camera. It has 8GB of built-in storage and a microSD card slot too. The Android version ticking inside is 4.1.2 Jelly Bean. The major selling point of the Optimus F5 is its LTE connectivity.
