LTE Xiaomi Mi 4 goes on sale with China Mobile's TD-LTE support

11 September, 2014

The LTE version of the Xiaomi Mi 4 is now on sale in China. The phone is tailored to work on China Mobile's TD-LTE network only, so international launch with this radio is unlikely.

The LTE Xiaomi Mi 4 retails for $326 (RMB 1999). Xiaomi plans to release a China Unicom FD-LTE version later this year. It'll be compatible with international LTE networks, so that'll be the one to go for, if you're outside the country.

The Mi 4 is built around a 5" 1080p display and features a Snapdragon 801 chipset (quad-core 2.5GHz Krait 400) and 3GB of RAM. Internal memory options are 16GB and 64GB and at the back, there's a 3,080mAh battery. The phone runs the latest MIUI 6 on top of Android KitKat
