My only gripe with Motorola is their braindead naming, like Pro, Fusion, Neo... I mean we all know what a Pro and Ultra version is but Fusion?

My previous phone was around 76mm in width and flat screen, so it was hard to adjust (again) on a curved small width screen. Beside battery duration (not good, not that bad), small width and some minor software inperfections, all in all solid phone

Motorola edge 50 ultra has a very poor width of 72.4 MM. It should have not been less than 77 MM.
This is very poor thinking.

Fairly expensive. You can get Honor 200 Pro for less and, arguably, better cameras.

Hb2 , 01 Aug 2024How is camera compare to other phones ? . I read some revie... moreI've owned the phone about a month now and can say I enjoy taking pictures with it. It's not perfect and not 'easy' as shoot and forget like Pixels and despite its power, processing photos takes longer than it should. But the pictures themselves come out great with my expectations. I haven't used it to record videos so cannot comment there.

Any acci... moreI use the phone dual sim (physical+esim) in Saudi Arabia, both on 5G networks and on both supports VOLTE/VOWIFI. Network signal is strong and data works normally, better than the Pixel 7 Pro I had before this phone.
Accidental touches happen on occasion but happen less as I get used to the form. Partially because the case that comes with it exposes the sides and curved screen. I normal case would likely greatly reduce this further.

S23 + ... moreHaven't used the S23+ but did own the base S23, in that version it could get warm doing routine things like running YouTube on 5G but otherwise was fine. The Edge 50 Ultra runs cooler doing that. Both are more or less, equally smooth with S23 probably feeling slicker due to software/animation. S23+ definetly wins software support if that is important to you.
Camera is personal preference, between the S23 and Edge I much prefer the later when it comes to images. Video, S23 will likely do better but I have bad experience with it in low light, haven't tested the Edge in that scenario. Both are great overall phones and will treat you well if taken care of.
